Individuals in the exhibition and events industry can now join the sector's peak professional body for $250 plus GST per annum.
The New Zealand chapter of the Exhibition and Events Assocation of Australasia has launched the individual category to open membership up to people in the industry who are not GST registered or who already work for a corporate member.
Barry Quayle, president of the New Zealand Chapter, says corporate membership (valued at $850 plus GST) remains the cornerstone for the chapter.
'However, we see individual membership as a great way for people to gain entry into the association and to directly gain the benefits of that membership. I believe this is probably the least expensive membership fee offered by events industry related association in Australasia.'
